# Hide From Screen – Supported Apps (/hide-from-screen)



Commit's **Hide from Screen** feature keeps the Commit widget invisible to screen sharing, screen recording, and screenshot tools. This page covers which platforms are supported, conditional cases, and known limitations.

System Requirements [#system-requirements]

* **macOS**: Devices from 2022 or later recommended
* **Windows 11**: Must be a 2023 or later device
* **Windows 10**: Not supported

How to Enable Hide from Screen [#how-to-enable-hide-from-screen]

1. Open **Commit Settings**
2. Navigate to the **General** tab
3. Toggle **Hide from Screen** on

Supported Platforms [#supported-platforms]

The following platforms are supported. Commit will not appear when sharing your screen:

* Google Meet

Zoom [#zoom]

Zoom is supported under one of the following conditions:

* Use **Zoom version 6.16 or older**, or
* Enable **"Advanced capture with window filtering"** in your Zoom settings

Microsoft Teams [#microsoft-teams]

Microsoft Teams is supported with the following limitations:

* **Not** hidden during Teams' entire-screen share mode
* Limited support on **Windows 10** and **Windows 11 Home**

How It Works [#how-it-works]

Commit runs as a native desktop application outside the browser sandbox. It uses OS-level APIs to remain invisible to screen sharing software.
